Blue Parrot, Massapequa, NY

9:15PM : Mimes of Mayhem returned to Blue Parrot, one of the friendliest bar venues there is, and opened the show for Sex Type Thing: A Tribute to Stone Temple Pilots. Guest vocalist Kellyann Striplin was absolutely phenomenal once again. With every recent appearance, Kellyann and Mimes of Mayhem have added to their collective repertoire, and this night was no different! Each and every time out, the audience reaction encourages Kellyann and the band to continue taking on new challenges and risks. On this night, in what may likely amount to the final performance for Mimes of Mayhem in their current lineup, the crowd was warm throughout – especially after crowd favorites “Forgiven” and “What’s Up?”. The hope is that if this, in fact, was the final Mimes of Mayhem performance, that Kellyann and a few of the current members of Mimes of Mayhem will continue onward with their journey together. We’ll see!

9:30PM : The 2011 Halloween Costume Party – Even Flow Bar’s first in what is now sure to be an annual event – and Mimes of Mayhem opened the show! It was a wild night from start to finish. To start things off, there was what seemed like a blizzard raging outside — seriously, there was heavy snow & wind, in October! Inside, the house was packed with folks reveling in Halloween style debauchery. There were copious amounts of beer & drinks flowing fueled by Even Flow’s famous chicken wings specials. And like every great Halloween party, there was a plethora of absolutely wild costumes. Even the bands were dressed up with Mimes of Mayhem leading the way. The story would not be complete without describing the winner of the 1st Prize $500cash for best costume. That went to one fine young gentlemen that bravely appeared as a cross-dressing Cher. “She” was exactly as you’d picture “her”, and with little else left to the imagination. Yes, folks, it was that kind of night, and Mimes of Mayhem wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. If you missed it, shame on you. You missed a good one! The advice to you is this … better circle “Halloween at Even Flow” on next’s year calendar right now!

Hey Mimics!

Ed here again with a greeting and an update! Recent days have been the busiest ever in the Land of Mimes, though it hasn’t all been spent behind the black & white makeup. Admittedly, our “side project” as Stone Temple Pilots tribute band Sex Type Thing has taken off and become a major focus for us of late. In the last several months, we’ve played all over Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn & New York City to awesome audiences and a new wave of fans. As a band, we’ve also taken a couple field trips to see the real live STP in concert this summer, and on one very exciting night in Brooklyn, watched them perform onstage at the Williamsburg Waterfront in Brooklyn only to go on with our own set of STP tunes immediately afterward only mere blocks away. The continued development of our act as STT and the success that has gone along with it has opened up new opportunities and as a result we’ll be soon travelling well beyond our usual borders. On our agenda right now we have forthcoming gigs on October 8th (Even Flow in Bay Shore), October 14th (KJ Farrell’s in Bellmore), October 21st (Dublin Underground, Albany, NY), and October 29th (back in Bay Shore at Even Flow), with more dates to be announced soon! We certainly hope you’ll come on out and catch this ever-tightening act live on stage soon!

The members of Sex Type Thing have all done a great job in coordinating and adding their individual skill sets to the mix toward creating the success that we’re now seeing, but special credit has to be sent on toward our Drummer and Business Manager, Darrin Cirillo, who has been working tirelessly wheeling & dealing with venue owners, other bands and booking agents to keep us busy and successful on the road. His efforts have been at the core of all the good things I get to report here.
Speaking of the core. Core, STP’s groundbreaking first album that features hits like “Plush”, “Wicked Garden” and “Creep”, will be turning 20-years-old in 2012. Don’t be too surprised if we choose to present a special anniversary tribute to that amazing initial offering sometime as the anniversary date approaches. Stay tuned. Never wanting to get stagnant, we’ve also got other ideas in the works, from new STP material to possible all-acoustic shows. If you’re already a fan of us as Sex Type Thing, keep coming down to see us as there’s lots of fresh new turns ahead!

“But Ed, what’s happening with the Mimes of Mayhem?!!!”

Wow. Thanks for reminding me! I’d almost forgot! Fear not, your Mimes are still active, even if our STT project has become something of a focal point for seeing us publicly. The Mimes have recently opened for STT on several occasions, including this past week at a special benefit for our troops in the Middle East. Special guest vocalist Kellyann Striplin continues to take on a larger role with lead vocals and audiences will tell you what an electric onstage presence she has been. The Mimes can be seen opening for STT this coming Saturday, October 8th at Even Flow, 150 E. Main Street, Bay Shore, NY. Get there at 8, order some of this joint’s amazing wings, and settle in for an entire evening of Mimes and STT! In Mimeland, we’re also contemplating new song choices, especially mindful of Kellyann’s larger presence and recently-added material to keep things exciting for you fans of the Mimes’ eclectic cover experience.

Well that’s about all I’ve got time to report on for now, but see us in person soon and make sure to say Hi! Also, as always, don’t forget to check us out on Facebook as both the Mimes of Mayhem AND Sex Type Thing. “Liking” us there makes us even happier!

Best always from the inside of our big invisible box,
E

June 25, 2011

Even Flow Bar & Grill, Bay Shore, NY

10:00PM : Mimes of Mayhem opened the show at Even Flow to a warm welcome from the initially sparse audience. As the evening got going, the crowd filed in and enjoyed the band through a couple of sets of hard rockin’ covers. Many of the folks there, especially in the early going, were special friends and family of none other than our very special guest vocalist, Kellyann Striplin. The support for Kellyann was evident and appreciated, and she thrilled them in all of her performances throughout the evening.

This is a great venue, with good food (check out their wings! -always made fresh and in a number of original and creative varieties that simply cannot be matched elsewhere!), well stocked bar and beer selection, great drink specials and otherwise very reasonable prices, and a welcoming atmosphere for all. If we lived locally, it’d be one of our regular hang-outs. When there are bands playing there we want to see, you can bet we’ll be making the trip.

Overall it was another great night for the band – and they can’t wait to do it again back at Even Flow Bar & Grill.

Ed here again. So much going on in the Land of the Mime I don’t know where to begin. With recently-successful and well-attended shows at Connolly’s Klub 45 in midtown Manhattan, KJ Farrell’s on Long Island, and our old haunt – OCI in Brooklyn, we’re starting the feel the lightheadedness that comes with our dual personalities as both cover band Mimes of Mayhem and STP tribute band Sex Type Thing.

We’ll admit we’ve been putting much of our focus into our act as STT, increasing our repertoire of Stone Temple Pilots hits and STP fan favorites, so if you haven’t seen us in this mode yet, we think you’re in for a great show when you do. Beyond that, we’ve had the pleasure of coordinating with a number of other truly excellent tribute acts, forging some great friendships within that circuit, and really enjoying this slightly-different-but-parallel-life as compared to our cover band experience.

However, there is no rest in Mimedom, and we are also working on new material there, as well as increasing the role of our semi-regular special guest vocalist Kellyann Striplin. Increasing Kellyann’s workload not only gives our audiences a phenomenal voice and something more pleasant to look at than three sets of yours truly, but also allows me to save a little vocal power for our longer shows so we can rock you late into the night! Additionally, we’re now beginning to book gigs where the Mimes of Mayhem and Sex Type Thing perform together on the very same night on the very same stage (not sure how that’ll work out since the two bands don’t seem to get along at all, but…).

Beyond all that exciting news, we’ve now begun experimenting with our first live streaming broadcasts of our shows! Our first “official” broadcast of a Mimes of Mayhem show went out this past Friday when we successfully entertained home viewers with two sets of our show through a link on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/mimesofmayhem). We’re hoping to continue livestreaming in the future, so if you absolutely CAN’T see our shows live (keep in mind, we always PREFER to see you in person!), then you can still keep up with the Mayhem from your living room. Watch for broadcast announcements on Facebook!

In other news, the Mimes and STT are both going on just a very short hiatus as we’ve got a lot going on in our personal lives – and it’s all good news! Bassist Bob Vilbig celebrated the birth of his son James Daniel on March 24, and drummer Darrin Cirillo is expecting his first any time now! We’re gonna give these boys a month off just to ensure their wives have all the support they need (and don’t get totally pissed off at them for running out the door to play for y’all), but then we’ll be right back! “When?” you say? “Where?” you say? Well…

May 6, 2011

Old Carriage Inn, Brooklyn, NY

10:20PM : Mimes of Mayhem kicked off their show at OCI. This evening was aimed at honoring our host, Dorothy Waggleman, for her birthday – which she waited a full week longer to celebrate with her favorite bar band – Mimes of Mayhem.

Coming off a strong show the week prior as alter-ego STP tribute band Sex Type Thing, Mimes of Mayhem was back at OCI for the first time in 2011. This time around, the crowd reaction was fairly mild all night long. The band, particularly the drummer, made significant efforts all night long to keep the volume down, which seemed to help people stay inside and carry on their conversations. Every bar owner appreciates the clientele staying around for the obvious reasons that the longer they stay, the more they eat & drink. Still, the band likes a ferocious reaction to every song. On this night, the biggest reactions were to special guest vocalist and birthday girl herself, Kellyann Striplin.

This night also marked a significant first with the band broadcasting part of the show live, streaming across the internet. The show was seen be a handful of diehard fans using the band’s facebook page as well as their site on Livestream. This new and exciting means of distribution, though still a bit rough around the edges, is sure to grow into bigger and better things for fans of the Mimes of Mayhem both near and far.

So, with the band making more new friends on this evening and the bar owner in happy spirits, all-in-all, this was another very good night.

Hello Mimers!

Sorry for the lack of recent updates, but the Mimes have been busy guys. 2011 is looking to be a slightly unusual year for us, with a lot of great things happening for us individually outside of the white makeup, but we’re still looking forward to playing for you as much as we can this year and have in fact been in the studio rehearsing some new tunes to bring you when we next all get together, including some hits from Bush, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac and Stone Temple Pilots. We continue to be as eclectic as ever in our choices!

But speaking of the Stone Temple Pilots (you can see I’ve been working on my segues!), our side project as Sex Type Thing: a tribute to Stone Temple Pilots, is going great guns and we’re looking forward to having some fun this coming week in midtown Manhattan! As always, we’d love to see you there! Here’s the info:
Date: This Friday, February 11, 2011
Where: Connolly’s Klub 45 Room
121 West 45th Street
New York City
Tickets: $10 at the door (make sure to tell them you’re there to see Sex Type Thing)
Time: 11pm for Sex Type Thing (A Small Victory- a tribute to Faith No More precedes us as 10pm.)

We’d love to see you down there and if you’re already a fan of our work as an STP tribute, we can promise you at least a couple new songs as part of that repertoire as well!

In between all this work as a slightly-mutated STP clone, keep in mind that your Mimes of Mayhem are always looking for another opportunity to play out among you, so feel free to turn us on to venues or events you’d like to see us at! Hopefully we can join you in your neighborhood real soon!

Enjoy your Superbowl weekend, y’all! Go Jets! (Huh? What? Aw shit… nevermind)

Hello to our Mimions!

We are less than one week from our debut as Sex Type Thing, New York’s new Stone Temple Pilots tribute band! Fear not, friends of the Mimed Ones, we haven’t abandoned our work as the Mimes of Mayhem – in fact, we’ll be going into the studio next month to record some new demo material – but of late we have put a little emphasis on polishing up some of STP’s greatest hits for our Tribute Band premiere. As for that… BE THERE! It’s “Tribute Fest NYC”, this Saturday, November 12, 9pm at Port 41 (355 W. 41st Street, NYC)! Doors open at 8pm and we go on right at 9pm to start an evening of awesome tribute bands that also features Tweezer (Weezer tribute), Jesus Christ Pose (making their debut doing the music of Soundgarden), and Last Exit (Pearl Jam tribute). Again, Sex Type Thing goes on right at 9pm, so don’t be late (at the door, PLEASE make sure to tell them specifically that you are there to see Sex Type Thing)! Jumping headlong into this strange new tribute band world is a big happening for us, so we’d really love to see you all there for the support and to have some fun with us as we bring you the best of STP, including “Plush”, “Interstate Love Song” and “Trippin’ on a Hole in a Paper Heart”!

And while we’re chatting about this exciting new side project, please make sure to check us out (or better yet, “Like” us) on Facebook as Sex Type Thing. And since you’re now tooling around on Facebook anyway, look for more info on “Tribute Fest NYC 2010″ by clicking here, or even see the Mimes of Mayhem’s OWN Facebook page (wait, you seriously haven’t “Like”d us there already???!!!). Hope to see you next week!

10:00PM : Mimes of Mayhem takes the stage at OCI for a very special benefit show to raise money and support for little Frankie Filippazzo. From the showbill:

Frankie Filippazzo is your typical three-year old. He loves to play with his brother, his toys, and most of all have fun. You can usually see him with a big smile ready to face the challenges of the day. There are, however, some challenges not meant for a three-year old. Frankie was recently diagnosed with stage-4 Neuroblastoma. He needs our help.

$10 donation at the door raises funds for Frankie.

Door Prizes, Raffles and Drink Specials too – all benefiting Frankie Filippazzo.

Please visit http://FightForFrankie.org/ for more information about three-year-old Frankie Filippazzo and his fight with cancer.

Ed here again. Just a quick update to let you know there’s lots happening in Mimeland. As things continue to develop with the band, we continue to work on new music, but are also making some changes to the overall look of our shows and, without giving away ALL the things we’re working on, you can look for us to at least be incorporating more of our band name into the look of the act.

We’ve also been enjoying working with a couple of different guest vocalists of late, Shari Umansky and Kellyann Striplin, and we are truly enjoying spending time creating new sounds with these various artists. We’re hoping to occasionally feature other new faces and voices with the band.

Lastly, shhh, don’t tell, but we’re moonlighting… on ourselves! The Mimes of Mayhem has a new side project – on some special dates, we will be known as Sex Type Thing, the area’s best new Stone Temple Pilots tribute band! Taking on STP’s song catalogue has been an exciting new challenge for us, and it’s a sound that fits right in our wheelhouse. We’ll be making our debut with the new act on November 20 in NYC, so keep a lookout for announcements related to that performance. FEAR NOT, however, we are NOT abandoning the Mayhem of Mimeland and will continue to rock your favorite hits from our current repertoire on all other dates.

That said, come on by and have some fun with us at our favorite haunt, the Old Carriage Inn (7th Avenue between 7th & 8th Streets, Park Slope, Brooklyn), this coming Friday night (September 24) at 10pm. See the new look, hear some new sounds. We’re always glad to hang and play with the OCI All-Stars, so definitely come on down! We’ll also be down there at OCI on October 8 and October 22, so make sure to see us soon, and often!

See you all at my intervention,
E

Just a quick note to say Hello and remind you to get out and see your Mimes. As always, we’ve got lots going on. We’re still playing regularly in Park Slope’s Old Carriage Inn (make sure to catch us there on August 20, September 10, and September 24!), will be playing a private gig on September 5 , and are getting ready to go back into the studio to work on some new recordings. Recently, we’ve enjoyed some new experiences, including a terrific outing at the Beach Hut in Copiague’s Tanner Park. Thanks to all those who’ve come out to see us of late.

As always, we continue to expand upon our material, and are currently working on adding some Red Hot Chili Peppers, Days of the New, Jace Everett, Third Eye Blind, and Live to our already eclectic mix. Also in our live sets, we continue to bring you some terrific guest vocalists and have recently been featuring the multi-talented Shari Umansky. Catch us on August 20, however, and we’ll be bringing you the amazing Kellyann Striplin, who will sit in with the Mimes for just an evening. Kellyann’s got a terrific voice and knows how to rock it, so make sure to come on down!

Next Outing:

Friday, August 20, 2010
10pm
Old Carriage Inn
312 7th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY

Old Carriage Inn, Brooklyn, NY

10:30PM : Mimes of Mayhem takes the stage at the OCI. Right before showtime, changes needed to be made to all three set lists as it turned out the planned special guest vocalist wasn’t available. What happened next was even less unexpected. Instead of shortening the sets and the night overall, the Mimes of Mayhem played one of their longest shows ever with another full 40 songs through three sets and several encores! Perhaps the social and vocal-cord “lubrication” that Nathan and Dorothy provided the band all night long had something to do with it. But after the fact, no one really remembers.

Hello Mimeroids,

Ed here again. We’re just having a blast playing around and working on some new material. This week in Park Slope, Brooklyn, we debuted a few new songs, including The Bloodhound Gang’s “Ballad of Chasey Lain”, Violent Femmes’ “Blister in the Sun”, CCR’s “Fortunate Son”, Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls”, and several others. So if you’ve seen us before, catch us the next time around, too, ’cause we’re workin’ hard to keep things fresh for you and changing up the sound!

Beyond all that… let’s be serious, folks. You just CAN’T sing with the band, okay? We’re hired to entertain at your local bar or special event. We’re not a cheesy karaoke band here to help you feel like a rock star. So please stop asking us if you can come up and sing for us because 1) we don’t know whether or not you suck, and if you do, no one in the place gets entertained but yourself – better that you go into the bathroom by yourself and whack off, 2) you probably don’t know our arrangements, so you may very well screw up the entire song and make the band look bad and then we’ll be obligated to kick your ass, 3) if you think you’re going to step in on one of my signature songs and waste all the time I spent working on it for performance, I’ll have to unleash a rabid squirrel on your nutsack. When we do occasionally have a special guest singer, you can be assured it’s a professional vocalist of our own choosing that has sung with and/or rehearsed with us before. As for you – Go to the bar, drink, listen to the band, try to make an actual friend to talk to. We’ll take care of the music. Really. And thanks (or bite me, whichever one is most appropriate for you in particular).

Lots of good opportunities coming up to see us! This coming Saturday, May 1st, we’ll be at Momo’s Sports Bar in Holbrook, Long Island. On May 14th we’ll be at the Tiki Bar in Long Beach, and we’ll be back there again on June 18th. Somewhere in between we’ll stop down at the Old Carriage Inn in Park Slope again, but we’ll give you those dates when we firm them up. Speaking of firming up, it’s late, and I should be off somewhere getting laid… see ya latah… Mime out.

Hello Residents of Mimetown!

Yeah, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update… bite me, okay? To update you on things since my last post in October… November-January: Sucked. February: Unconscious. Thank goodness for my alcohol-induced comas or the Winter would’ve been a total waste. But there’s much happening in the World-of-the-Mayhemic-Mime! New bassist Bob Vilbig is up-to-speed on all our material and we’re back out and playin’. Last week we had a blast out in Park Slope, Brooklyn at the Old Carriage Inn, and are looking forward to going back there on April 23rd. We’ll keep you updated on the details… or you can follow us on Facebook (if you’re not already, what the frig are you waitin’ for?) by becoming a Fan of our page: http://www.facebook.com/mimesofmayhem. We’ll also be down at Momo’s Sports Bar in Holbrook, Long Island, on May 1st, and we’re currently negotiating a couple dates with The Tiki Bar in Long Beach. Like I said, stay posted… and horny.

But despite being out and about among the throngs of Mime-fans, we’re still also busy in the studio working on some new material to bring ya, and we’re very excited about some of the new selections. We’d hint at the new stuff, but we’d much rather just have y’all come down and see it all live real soon. So make sure to run, walk, drunkenly stagger, or otherwise amble you butt down to one of the upcoming gigs. It’s gonna be a Mime-rific summer!

See ya soon!

Hello Mime-ophiles!

It’s been an exciting evening in Mimeland as we did some very productive work with our new bass player, Bob Vilbig. Bob’s already learned a good deal of our material and looks to be a great addition to the band as he fills our top two requirements for the job: 1) He plays bass, and 2) He’s about the same height as departing bassist Pete Lavers. This second requirement was of great importance as most us Mimes are on the short side, and Pete was needed to keep up the band’s “average height” so that we could remain competitive with other bands in this area. Bob fits the bill nicely. Having already learned almost a third of our material, Bob’s doing some good work and we’re looking forward to getting back out there among y’all!

Other than that, if you’re not already aware, Mimes of Mayhem has an increasingly popular Facebook page, so definitely shoot on over there and become a fan: http://www.facebook.com/mimesofmayhem

And now here’s a random photo of Mimes’ drummer Darrin Cirillo at a recent rehearsal (I haven’t given him enough attention on this page lately…).

See ya soon!

Hello Again Mime-heads!

Things are good in Mimetown, although we are hot on the search for a permanent replacement for Pete Lavers, our departing bassist. We’ve chatted and jammed with a number of potentials, but still looking for the right person for our eclectic mix of idiots. Hopefully we’ll have a new name to announce to you soon and you’ll be able to see us out there with our newest faces (all painted white, of course). In the meantime, we’re continuing to rehearse, discuss new material, keep ourselves fresh and oiled up for our next throw-down with y’all.

As for yours truly, I’ve recently been supplementing my stage time with the Mimes with a country-fried rock venture onstage in THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL, playing the role of a marker-sniffin’, gun-totin’, cuss-talkin’ drifter named Duke. Here’s a little video segment if you’d like to see me outside of my Mime-wear (though fans of ours will recognize the hat…). Enjoy!

Check it out.

As we get ready for our upcoming appearance at the Beach Hut (8/28, 5-9pm @ Tanner Park Beach in Copiague), we’re all very excited at some of the new material we’ve been toying around with. Besides the usual Mime favorites, we’ll be premiering a bunch of new tunes, including Alice in Chains’ “Would” and “Man in the Box”, Weezer’s “Hash Pipe”, and songs by The Vapors, Me First & the Gimme Gimmes, and the Rolling Stones.

Our repertoire is also being expanded by the addition of our latest special guest vocalist. At the Tanner Park gig you’ll be introduced to the multi-talented (and exceedingly hot) Lisa Engellis, a soulful rocker who will be picking up on our usual agenda of female songs, plus taking on some new tunes, including Offspring’s “Gotta Get Away” and Janis Joplin’s “Me and Bobby Magee”. As for yours truly, I’ve enjoyed singing with Lisa in the past and am having a total blast working with her as part of the Mimes. Can’t wait to introduce her to you on the 28th – she’s gonna rock your socks. Uh, but we’ll be at the beach, so it’s cool if you just wanna wear sandals or somethin’…

Lots happening with the group these days, and as you may have heard, we ARE on the search for a new bass guitarist (side note: Definitely join us at Tanner Park so you can see us fully intact with bassist Pete Lavers before he departs for new adventures down south!).

Look forward to seein’ y’all soon!

Well, the Mimes are out there now. After finishing up our first couple of gigs, we’re feelin’ good and looking forward to getting out amongst y’all for more fun. Yesterday’s outing in Brooklyn was a lot of fun for us and we got a chance to evaluate our current material. Despite very positive overall feedback from these first couple performances, the Mimes refuse to sit still. We have a full list of material we’re looking to add to our repertoire, so we can’t wait to get back out there again to play some new stuff, as well as continue to tighten our presentation.

Keepin’ this one short today, but make sure to keep your eyes on the website for new video clips sure to appear in our Media gallery.

Oh, and just to dispel a rumor… no, the Mimes DON’T believe in “doing it quietly”…

Hi again followers of the Mimedom. Frontman Ed here to just chitchat about nothing in particular. All the Mimes are gearing up for our upcoming Brooklyn gigs, and we’d love to see y’all down there as we put our new lineup to its first test. We’ll be presenting some material we’ve been playing for awhile now, and a handful of things we’ve just started toying with.

Among our new material are a couple songs requiring the assistance of a guest female vocalist, and I’ve been totally stoked to do a little duet-work at rehearsals. We have a couple of fine female vocalists that will likely do some guest appearances with us, but for our June 6 gig, we’ll get a hand from Ms. Shari Umansky. Shari is actually an award-winning screenwriter, but as a singer, she’s appeared both on Broadway and with legends like Clarence Clemmons, among others. And if you ask me, our duet-take on the Beatles’ “Come Together” kicks some ass. For me, personally, I’ve enjoyed how the additional voice has led to a slightly more experimental and improvisational approach to a couple of our tunes.

In the meantime, we’re still looking for other opportunities to get out among you and see y’all in a variety of locations this summer. We’ll keep you updated as to where we’ll be and when. In the meantime, from myself, Brian, Darrin & Pete, see ya on June 6 and 27…

Hello Friends and Fans of the Mimes of Mayhem…

With none of the guys really looking to be the “voice” of the Mimes on this here Blog at the moment, the task has been bestowed upon me. And, since I am the newest Mime to the fold, I guess it’s a good time and forum to introduce myself. I’m Ed… that’s right, just “Ed” – a mere suffix, embodying the past tense, and by virtue of name alone am Mr. “Been There, Done That”… I am the new frontman for the Mimes of Mayhem and very excited to be associated with the general malcontents that make up this little musical foursome. Hopefully fans of my pre-Mimedom will follow my ongoings here and join the ranks of the Mayhem-ettes as well (damn, we really need a better name for our fan base…). For those of you not yet schooled in the career of Ed, you may feel free to visit my website at www.edhuether.com for more on my stage & vocal history.

And since I see I have the option of inserting links and video clips to my entries here, I figure I might as well give you a quick gander of what you might see from me in performance-mode. Sadly, I have no video clips to share from my previous band, but as I am also a veteran of the musical theatre stage for over 20 years, I’ll give you a short clip from a show called “Leader of the Pack” where I performed the classic rock song “Hanky Panky” among others. Hopefully this is a vague-ish bridge between the theatrical stage and harder riffs you will hear with the Mimes of Mayhem. Enjoy…\”Hanky Panky\”
