Hello Mimers!
Sorry for the lack of recent updates, but the Mimes have been busy guys. 2011 is looking to be a slightly unusual year for us, with a lot of great things happening for us individually outside of the white makeup, but we’re still looking forward to playing for you as much as we can this year and have in fact been in the studio rehearsing some new tunes to bring you when we next all get together, including some hits from Bush, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac and Stone Temple Pilots. We continue to be as eclectic as ever in our choices!
But speaking of the Stone Temple Pilots (you can see I’ve been working on my segues!), our side project as Sex Type Thing: a tribute to Stone Temple Pilots, is going great guns and we’re looking forward to having some fun this coming week in midtown Manhattan! As always, we’d love to see you there! Here’s the info:

Tickets: $10 at the door (make sure to tell them you’re there to see Sex Type Thing)
Time: 11pm for Sex Type Thing (A Small Victory- a tribute to Faith No More precedes us as 10pm.)
We’d love to see you down there and if you’re already a fan of our work as an STP tribute, we can promise you at least a couple new songs as part of that repertoire as well!
In between all this work as a slightly-mutated STP clone, keep in mind that your Mimes of Mayhem are always looking for another opportunity to play out among you, so feel free to turn us on to venues or events you’d like to see us at! Hopefully we can join you in your neighborhood real soon!
