Mimes of Mayhem is a Long Island, NY based cover band whose repertoire spans multiple decades and styles of rock music. Our current line-up has been playing together since December 2008, but the band itself has been in existence in one form or another for nearly ten years. We've come a long way since starting out in an East Rockaway garage, going through various personnel changes and practice locations until finally coming together to what you see today. It took us just as long to come up with a name. Each member of the band brings along a diverse set of musical influences and experience which has resulted in a very ecclectic mix of material to share with our fans. It's not often you hear the likes of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck Berry, and Bryan Adams in the same set. It's pure Mayhem...

BAND MEMBERS:
Ed Huether (Vocals) - The most accomplished performer of the band, Ed brings a professionally trained voice and performing arts background to the mix, and divides his time between acting/singing in professional theatre and handling the front-man duties for the band. As a rock vocalist, Ed's influences go back to the funk & rock era of the early '70s and the music of Three Dog Night, Sly & the Family Stone, Blood, Sweat & Tears, The Jimmy Castor Bunch, BTO, and Clarence Carter. For the Mimes, he shows the expanse of his musical range in taking on a variety of genres. Ed's vocals were the final piece of the puzzle in the band's long journey.

Brian Marrocco (Guitar) - A market researcher by day and aspiring artist by night, Brian has been with the band since it's inception. Playing and writing music since high school, his favorite bands include Dream Theater, Metallica, Godsmack, and any instrumental jazz. His favorite guitarists include Howard Leese (ex-Heart), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Tom Morello (RATM), and Steuart Smith (The Eagles). He is a big fan of musical gadgets and tries to incorporate them whenever he can into his playing. He also lends some vocals to the mix on occasion.
